Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit an experienced Paint Plant Operative to join our client based in Chilton, County Durham.
Working on a 2-shift rotation after some initial training, the successful candidate must have at least 1 years’ experience of working on ideally a powder coat or wet paint plant.
Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential.
The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 5 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.
Duties will include:
Selecting parts to be painted, following a set schedule.
Jigging and masking parts as set out in work instructions then hanging on paint plant.
Taking painted parts off the line, carrying out quality checks and inspection before packing as instructed. Keeping the area clean tidy and organised.
This role is working on a two shift system of 6am - 2.30pm and 2.30pm - 11pm, rotating weekly
