Salary: £80 - £100 per day

TeacherActive are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within Special Educational Needs Schools based in and around the Sunderland area. We create amazing rapport with our schools and are always keen to support staff with the on-boarding process!

We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to deliver a day-to-day, short-term or long-term position in education. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you must have the ability to support pupils with additional requirements such as ASD / Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD on a one to one basis. It is essential as a SEND Teaching Assistant that you can re-engage pupils in their learning following classroom disruption.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
Ability to engage with pupils on a one to one basis
Clear understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
