Job Title: HVAC Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial refrigeration and chillers, coupled with a robust understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. With at least 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including but not limited to refrigeration and chillers.
Utilize strong electrical knowledge to diagnose and address electrical issues within HVAC systems.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities effectively.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain organized records.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or education in HVAC preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC, with a focus on refrigeration and chillers.
Strong electrical background with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
