A forward-thinking Cost & Project Management Consultancy is seeking an accomplished Associate Director, from a Project Management background, to enhance their Birmingham office.

This role not only offers the chance to manage complex construction projects but also to mentor a team and expand the consultancy's business portfolio.

The Associate Director Construction Project Manager Role

As the Associate Director of Project Management, you will play a crucial role in steering a variety of projects across the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors. Your responsibilities will extend from strategic oversight of project delivery to active participation in business development and client relationship management.

Joining a hands-on, dynamic team of 15 the incoming Associate Director will benefit from long term progression opportunities, flexible working, and flexible hours.

Infrastructure experience would be beneficial as the firm work on a number of greenfield and brownfield sites which require initial elements of infrastructure to get up and running. The new Associate Director may come from a Main Contractor background but MUST have Project Management experience within a UK Consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of multiple large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
Mentor and develop the project management team, working closely with other Partners to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Drive business development activities, including tendering for new projects and cultivating lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.The Associate Director Construction Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in construction project management at a senior level, looking to advance their career in a leadership role. Essential qualifications and skills include:

Degree in Project Management or Quantity Surveying
MUST have previous Project Management experience within a UK Construction Consultancy
Accreditation from RICS, CIOB, or APM is highly desirable.
Strong business acumen with a track record of winning new work and enhancing company growth.In Return?
