Senior Accountant

A forward thinking and progressive accountancy practice in Leigh on Sea, are looking to recruit a senior accountant/client manager to their team, to help strengthen the business, and aid its growth. This practice pride themselves on offering a friendly and professional service for personal, SME, & Corporate clients, both nationally and internationally

The successful candidate will be working closely alongside the partner, and be handling a large client portfolio, managing relations with the firms best clients. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career, with excellent progression opportunities available

Senior Accountant Position Overview

Managing a client portfolio of 150 clients, including the firms best and largest clients
Financial reporting, preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for clients
Tax Compliance and Advisory, managing corporate, personal tax, and VAT returns. Offering tax advice to clients
Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion
Financial Analysis, analysing financial data and providing insights to clients
Regulatory compliance
Team collaboration

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

ACCA, ACA, FCCA, ICAEW qualified is preferred. Part ACCA or QBE is also acceptable
Able to commute to Leigh on Sea
Able to hit the ground running
Minimum of 4 years practice experience
No requirement for sponsorship

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary depending on experience, ranging from £35k-45k
