Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu or specials.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs throughout their dining experience, providing refills, clearing plates, and addressing any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow during busy periods.
Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions and reconciling checks at the end of each shift.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables, restocking supplies, and performing general cleaning tasks as needed.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, alcohol service regulations, and customer service standards. Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor and a genuine desire to provide great service.
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate guests' needs.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
