Location: Farnborough, UK

Position: QHSE Engineer
Contract: Initial 6-month contract, inside IR35
Security Clearance: Must have SC (Security Check) clearance

Day rate negotiable based on experience (Via Umbrella)

Hybrid arrangement (standard Tuesday - Thursday on site in Farnborough)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems in accordance with ISO standards.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE policies and regulations.

Lead risk assessments and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Provide training and support to staff on QHSE best practices and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare and present reports on QHSE performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements:

Must possess SC (Security Check) clearance.

Proven experience in a QHSE role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.

NEBOSH or IOSH certification is desirable.
