Plumbing and Heating Engineer

A1 Jobs are currently recruiting for full-time plumbing and heating engineer on a full-time employment basis.

My client is a fast-growing company based in Glasgow and surrounding areas who are constantly expanding. Priding themselves on quality work with outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of repairs and servicing of heating systems and will have a sound understanding of relevant gas regulations, related paperwork and the need to work within a health & Safety environment in a responsible manner.

Continued training and development is also important so this will be offered to the suitable candidate.

Requirements to be considered for this position:

* Must have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in domestic boiler Breakdowns

* Basic plumbing knowledge is also required

* Must hold valid gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, etc)

* Must have a valid UK driving license

* Must have their own tools

* Be presentable and hard working with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Attending call outs for breakdowns, repairs and claims

* Attending customers annual boiler service appointments

* Installing new boilers for our existing and new customers

* Face to face engagement with customers

* Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are well organised, can work off your own initiative and have a current UK driving license.
