Package: £45-65k, pension, and car allowance

Role Overview:
As the Operations Director for Plant Hire, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a depot, managing the Plant Hire/Trade Counter. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Enhancing operational performance in processing and manufacturing.
Leading a management team to oversee the company's workforce.
Reviewing KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
Implementing production strategies to maximize business throughput.
There is a genuine opportunity to advance to a Managing Director position with share options.
Experience Required:
Ideal candidates should have experience in roles such as Plant Hire Manager, Depot Manager, or Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Oversee depot staff, manage shifts, and coordinate work schedules.
Safety Advocate: Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Financial Oversight: Manage the depot's profit and loss accounts to maximize profitability.
Recruitment: Identify and recruit new team members as needed.
Sales Drive: Proactively drive sales, arrange plant transportation, and ensure optimal stock levels at the depot.
Maintenance Liaison: Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure timely service and maintenance of equipment.
Client Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and foster a positive working environment.
Experience Required:
Previous experience in Plant Hire, Plant Equipment, or Trade Counter is highly desirable.
Strong management skills and a proven track record in similar roles.
