Kenect recruitment are recruiting for an experienced operations administrator to join a dedicated logistics team based in Billingham area. As an operations administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics operations of the company.

Primary responsibility will be to assist the Senior Contract Manager with all daily activities including reporting, invoicing and taking notes in meetings. Assisting with all data processes within the organisation.

Duties to include:
- Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance data
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues
- Prepare documents, such as sales & purchase orders
- Maintain accurate system records, inventory, and logistics documentation
- Assist in optimising logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare reports, presentations and organise meetings and events

Skills:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and record keeping
- Proficient in using Microsoft software and Google
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and external customers
- Problem-solving abilities to address any issues or delays in logistical operations
- Knowledge of commercial waste principles, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
