Electronics Test Engineer

To be considered for this role you will live in the Isle of Wight and be willing to work on site in Cowes each day, as well as travel to client sites if required.

The Role

As an Electronics Test Engineer, your responsibilities include developing test strategy for new and existing electronic products, components, and systems, ensuring that we meet our clients needs.

The ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and deliver work to strict deadlines’ you should have an aptitude for mathematics and a passion for technology, ensuring safe, practical and cost-effective solutions to a variety of customer and business opportunities.

What will I be doing?

As Electronics Test Engineer you will work with the key stake holders to achieve the following: 

You will provide input into product development schedules and plans 

Reviews handover documentation to ensure testing can be performed effectively 

Support the necessary scheduled of products to maintain the pipeline of work

Support with new product development, qualification and validation strategies

Test result reporting 

Liaise and collaborate with other departments to schedule work

You will procure and utilise new test equipment and resources 

You will drive continuous quality performance improvements 

What experience do I need?

Our team consists of the best people, we should know, we trained them. We want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. 

A Degree or HNC in Electronics or equivalent industry experience 

You will have manufacturing / engineering experience within a relevant discipline 

Knowledge of good engineering and production practices 

Experience with testing and fault finding and failure analysis

Proactive and effective communicator

A strong customer focus
