Based in Kent - hybrid working available (Travel across Surrey and Kent and Sussex is required)
Full time, Permanent
£33,120 - £36,800 + car allowance

We are working with a leading housing group to find an experienced and resilient Income Collection and Recovery Court Officer to join their team based in Kent

It will be your responsibility to work alongside the Income Collection and Recovery team and Court officers, advocating for the client within a court setting. Duties will involve; preparing all court documentation and witness statements, liaising with legal representatives, reviewing case notes and acting in line with the arrears recovery progress. Travel across Sussex, Surrey and Kent is required for this role.
Essential Criteria:

Housing background within debt recovery
Experience Managing arrears cases both over the phone and/or face to face
Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly in challenging circumstances
Willing to travel when required
Knowledgeable with the Housing Act (Housing Law and legislation) and Civil Procedure Rules
Experience in court etiquette, case law, court directions and implications of the Equality Act
Excellent IT skills
Experience preparing and reviewing case filesDesirable Criteria:
