Our client is a leading a highly reputable super prime residential contractor who work on some of the most prestigious luxury residential projects across the UK. Most of their project pipeline are high end residential refurbishment projects and they have already secured £10m worth of work over the next 12 months. 
 
Our client represents some of the wealthiest individuals in the world and build some of the most beautiful one-off developments in the UK which mostly consist of standalone mansions and estates. These locations include areas such as Kensington, Notting Hill, Mayfair, and Belgravia. As well as other ongoing projects in Central, West, East and North London. 
 
Estimator Opportunity: 
 
Opening for a talented and driven Estimator to join our clients highly successful team division, helping the company to manage their existing tenders and help to bring in new work. This opportunity has been created due to a strong pipeline of work & expansion to the Estimating team. The role is key in securing projects through driving the estimating teams detailed, specific and thorough understanding of the tender information.
 
The role will require you to coordinate with various internal teams throughout the preconstruction stages and to provide support and advise during the construction and delivery stages.
 
Key Estimator responsibilities:

Preparation of tenders to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, setting priorities.
Proactive involvement in establishing the Bid Strategy to win assigned tenders.
Bid manage assigned tenders to ensure a robust tender is produced to meet tender deliverables and timescale.
Prepares construction budget by studying design information; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each element of the projects.
Evaluating offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and project requirements.
Obtaining bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating prices.
Tender reviews, analysis & presentations.
Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating relevant information.
Resolving cost discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
Preparing tender reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Supporting commercial team & regular review of the supply chain.  
Essential Experience:

A proven track record in estimating fit out & refurbishment projects. (High-end ideal)
Minimum 5+ years’ experience as Estimator / Senior Estimator.  
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent commercial acumen & strong management skills.
A proactive and organised approach with the ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast and dynamic environment.
