You will be responsible for building and maintaining America’s largest and most reliable cellular network.
As a Construction Engineer in Wireless Construction, you will manage a variety of internal and external partners and vendors to oversee construction and maintenance for a regional network of cell site projects.
Your vital role will ensure that these multi-stakeholder, complex projects are delivered on time, to specifications, and within budget. 
Job Duties:  
Collaborating with stakeholders to establish project designs, bill of materials, scope of work, deliverables, and timelines.
Conducting competitive bids with general contractors to procure install pricing for various projects.
Developing and maintaining detailed schedules for each project and actively managing the scheduled tasks with outside vendors including: major milestones, action items, long lead purchases, and any other commitments that would impact the project schedule.
Analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule and taking required corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track.
Providing regular project status reports to management and the project team.
Coordinating and overseeing the issuance of RFQs and the evaluation of responses, based on purchasing requirements, and providing detailed analysis and recommendations for the best candidates.
Managing regional network projects related to new In Building systems.
Working closely with Real Estate, Equipment Engineers, and Facilities Engineers to ensure cell site construction issues are proactively identified/resolved, and requirements are met.
Working with outside vendors including General Contractors, Architectural & Engineering firms, and Construction Management firms on project scope, design, and plans to meet standards, local code requirements, and project schedules.
Facilitating weekly routine planning and working sessions with critical stakeholders and regional Operations Managers to review project scope, define issues, develop deliverables associated timelines, assign primes, and track action items.
Developing and maintaining a detailed schedule for each project and actively managing the scheduled tasks with outside vendors including major milestones, action items, long lead purchases, and any other commitments that would impact the project schedule.
Understanding the impact of changes from the original schedule and taking required corrective actions to ensure the project stays on schedule.
Coordinating and overseeing the issuance of RFQs and the evaluation of responses; (based on purchasing requirements, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for chosen candidates, and issuing purchase orders using the PeopleSoft/Quick Bid Purchasing system).
Review of close-out packages to ensure projects are completed to a high-quality standard and according to the project scope.
Completing receipts of service purchase orders and ensuring that invoices are paid promptly according to federal and state regulations.
Managing the regional monthly cell capital plan, ensuring spending accuracy in monthly forecasting, and performing monthly reconciliation of YTD monthly spending by budget item.
Providing regular project status reports to other members of management and the project team.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience managing projects and process/program management experience.
Experience with budget tracking, cost estimation, and cost accounting of capital plans.
Telecom Construction experience.
Experienced computer skills.
Valid driver's license.
Samsung, Nokia, Motorola, and DC plant design knowledge.
Knowledge of fiber installation and standards.
Experience in telecommunications/data networking or wireless industry.
Experience with 4G/5G Macro Cell implementation.
Capability to be results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, proactive, and flexible.
Proven ability to manage heavy workloads, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.
Commitment to quality, motivation, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary $70 - $80/ HR 
Duration:  2.5 years contract
