Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design and implement technical solutions that seamlessly integrate with customer's data sources and our cloud endpoints, in close collaboration with sales, solutions architect, and engineering teams.
Lead the technical implementation and customization of our products to match customer workflows, processes, and business rules. Oversee the integration with existing manufacturing systems, such as ERP, MES, and QMS platforms.
Act as a technical authority, offering guidance and support on the architecture, APIs, and data models of our solutions. Communicate technical requirements and timelines effectively with both internal teams and external manufacturing clients. Develop and continuously improve integration documentation to support efficient deployments.
Must-Have Requirements:
Proficiency in writing software integrations, including experience with APIs, Python, SQL, PowerShell, and bash. Knowledge of enterprise software and middleware (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and experience in deploying & maintaining remote applications.
A demonstrated desire and aptitude for working directly with customers, characterized by a strong service orientation and the ability to build trusting relationships.
Experience working in a startup environment, with a comfortable approach to ambiguity, a resilient mindset, and a proactive attitude towards growth and challenges.
Basic skills in network troubleshooting, with an understanding of systems communications preferred. Familiarity with enterprise networking and troubleshooting is advantageous but not an absolute requirement.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar client-facing technical role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Solid experience in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar), writing SQL queries, and making REST API calls.
Familiarity with middleware and integration toolsets, as well as with Windows and Linux operating systems. Competence in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, deploying, and maintaining remote applications is essential.
Strong capability in writing technical documentation, with excellent overall communication skills to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A keen curiosity and enthusiasm about technology, coupled with strong project management and organizational skills, allowing for the effective juggling of multiple clients and priorities.
Comfort and adaptability in a startup environment, showcasing the ability to quickly pivot between tasks and take on various responsibilities as needed.
