Managing Director (f/m/x)

Our client was established as a non-profit organization that supports members (businesses) and partners in their sustainable transition in the agri-food economy throughout Europe.
The client is looking for a Managing Director who will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, lead, and reorganize the structure of that association, together with an LLC, to work successfully for a better, sustainable future growth.

Aufgaben

• Leadthe vision of a sustainable and safe European protein supply for food and feed industry
• Provide strong leadership and coaching to various international and multifunctional teams
• Reorganize the organization (association, LLC, and international offices in Ukraine and Serbia)
• Manage allocated resources to ensure optimal impact and efficiency, including effective collaboration and coordination with all members and partners
• Setstrategic direction, provide a clear and inspiring vision, set long-term goals and identify the strategic initiatives required to reach those goals
• Assume budget responsibility with overall financial management
• Work closely with the President of the association and the Board

Profil

• University graduate
• 15+ years of leadership experience with multifunctional matrix teams (>25 people)
• Strong leadership and remote team management skills
• Understand both association and private sector business within the food & feed industry (soy/protein sector experience is an advantage)
• Knowledge of change management is preferable
• Excellent knowledge of financial management instruments and structures of associations
• Excellent communication skills in English (German desired)
• High level of cooperation and social skills with an understanding of different stakeholder needs
• Solution-oriented, proactive, highly self-motivatedand hands-on
• Powerful team player with interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness

Our client offers an annual gross salary of EUR 110,000 for this position, with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications.
