£40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime

Monday - Friday (8am-4pm)

Our client is a recycling plant with a reputation for quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - electrical or mechanical biased.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance on machinery
Maintaining the industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyors, shredders, crushers, granulators, and sorting systems.
Will be working as the sole engineer supported by production & hygiene teams
Provide front line engineering support to all Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic machinery
Carrying out both electrical and mechanical fault finding
Adopting a proactive approach to manitenance- working on brand new machinery
Working on facilities and site services maintenance daily

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - either electrical or mechanical biased
Must have some 5 years + hands-on engineering experience
Hold some form of engineering qualifications
Ideally have worked in a recycling or process industry
Comfortable with working on own initiative
Strong cultural fit need to be a confident character with a good sense of humour
