About Our Client:

Our client is a fast-paced organisation specialising in the supply of point of sale (POS) and point of purchase (POP) displays within the temporary and permanent display industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Assembly Department Team Leader to join their team.

Responsibilities:

As the Assembly Department Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving the productivity and efficiency of the assembly team. Your responsibilities will include:

Actively participating on the shop floor with the assembly team
Providing support and leadership to ensure the team meets or exceeds output targets
Effectively managing labour utilisation
Ensuring all relevant paperwork is up to date
Following all relevant procedures and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrating problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
Communicating effectively with team members and other departments
Managing time effectively and working towards shared goals

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the point of sale industry
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
Enthusiasm and a problem-solving mentality
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Good time management skills

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

Familiarity with point of sale industry processes and practises
Experience working with different personalities
