Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

About Our Client:

Our client is a fast-paced organisation specialising in the supply of Point of Sale/Point of Purchase (POS/POP) displays within the temporary and permanent display industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Supervisor to join their team in Leicester.

Responsibilities:

As the Assembly/POS Supervisor, you will:

Play an active role on the shop floor, leading and supporting the assembly team
Drive outputs in terms of quantity and quality, ensuring they meet or exceed targets
Monitor productivity and ensure effective utilisation of labour
Chase finished parts from various departments and ensure timely production
Set up production lines and timings, ensuring they are met
Collaborate with the warehouse function to ensure timely delivery of items
Maintain up-to-date paperwork and follow relevant procedures
Deal with disciplinary matters as needed
Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
Communicate effectively with other departments and work towards shared goals

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Previous experience within the POS industry is desirable
Strong attention to detail
Good time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with diverse personalities

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge of assembly operations and production processes
