Finance Manager

Role: Finance Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

As a result of business growth, in this newly created position, you will be working closely with senior stake holders as part of a busy international team, responsible for delivering statutory and regulatory reports, and supporting in the creation and maintenance of robust project governance and control policies.

Your role will include:

* Produce yearly plans and forecasts

* Ensure all appropriate P&L and balance sheets reconciliations are performed

* Produce annual budgets

* Monitor and analyse spend against budget

* Conduct variance analysis

* Take a lead on internal and external audits

* Assist with statutory reporting and completion of Tax packages

* Prepare quarterly and annual returns

* Support with on-going improvement initiatives, including analytical tools, creation of policies, and review of technology or systems

* Become a key contact for senior operational management team

* Prepare and present key financial information

* Support and interact with the broader Financial Accounting team with ad-hoc tasks

Your background:

* Proven experience is key - previous financial accounting experience is essential

* Able to prepare and review financial statements

* Possess excellent report writing skills, and be able to present detailed information to senior management team

* Able to prioritise work and meet fixed deadlines

* Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar)

* Good command of Excel

* A team player with a positive can-do attitude, resilient, collaborative, and organised
