£30000-£40000 + Benefits

Leading IT Managed Service Provider are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team and work a wide range of private and public clients across the South-East. This role would suit a Technical Support Engineer with extensive knowledge of the IT market and someone who us currently at 2nd or 3rd line level.

Skills required for The Technical Support Engineer

5+ years' experience in Networking and Microsoft packages offering virtual support on servers, workstations, and remote technology.

Ideally hold some Microsoft qualifications such as (MCP/MCTS/MCSA/MCSE) and be comfortable speaking to clients at all levels offering expert technical guidance in a calm and succinct manner.

Technical knowledge to include Windows Server (Apply online only), Firewall and Switches, Microsoft 365.

Full driving license

Key duties

Maintaining customer Window Servers and being a point of contact for the internal technical escalation process.
Covering aspects of network support whilst providing guidance to junior members of the team.
Ensure SLA records are logged correctly and maintained.
Attend internal and hosted Microsoft training to gain additional accreditations to enhance customer support and experiences.
