Field Service Engineer

Our client who focuses on construction and industrial equipment are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

This position is field based.  Your main focus is to provide onsite customer support to the range of machinery within the Hemel Hempstead area.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve reports of technical issues with equipment
Service all machines, both on and off site
Complete paperwork, timesheets, and job cards to a high standard
Request parts efficiently and comply to all Health and Safety requirements
Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when inspecting and repairing equipment
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers
Supervise Apprentices when required to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standardYou Will Need:

Experience within a similar position, the ability to investigate and diagnose technical problems on heavy plant machinery
The ability to lift heavy items, and work independently
Strong mechanical awareness and aptitude
