The school is based in Solihull and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 11 – 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. This SEND school is desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic Tutor to start immediately with a focus on Maths, English, and Science. The hours are flexible, part time and you will be working term time only.
The successful home tutor will have the following:
Experience working with SEND and SEMH
Have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
Have a good standard of education
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 basis
