Job Title: Head of Design and Technology (DT) in Secondary Education
Description: SMART Education seeks a dynamic Head of DT for a secondary school in Birmingham. This role provides additional support within the school and commences in February, offering full-time hours until the academic year's end. Prompt interviews and lesson observations are scheduled to swiftly identify the ideal candidate. The school ethos prioritizes creativity, acknowledging its pivotal role in enhancing children’s academic, social, and mental well-being. Qualifications:
Valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Minimum 24 months teaching experience within the National Curriculum DT framework
Proficiency in all aspects of teaching, including planning, assessment, and engagement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Competence in teaching art, food, and DT subjects
Leadership experience preferred
