Copello are recruiting for Operational Excellence Engineer (OpEx) to join a leading regulated manufacturing organisation based in the outskirts of Southampton on a permanent basis, to drive implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities will include:
* Lead Lean transformation projects – 5S / SMED / TPM / Visual Management.
* Mentor / Lead Visual management / Operational Excellence.
* Design and implement process improvements to enhance production and reduce waste, costs.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
* Hands on experience in implementing Operational Excellence (OpEX) / Continuous improvement into manufacturing – not just been part of the process.
* Engage regularly with multi disciplined teams / training and mentoring.
* Worked within an Automotive / Pharmaceutical / Medical device / GMP environment.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering.
* DMAIC (desirable).
* Lean / Six Sigma qualifications.
Travel requirements;
Travel between local manufacturing sites is required – no essential international travel, however maybe required on some rare occasions
