Are you an experienced buyer with a love for technology and electrical products? Do you want to play a pivotal part in an established but growing business?
In this role, no two days will be the same, you will be dealing with a variety of suppliers and monitoring pricing levels across a number of retail outlets. As a buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing electrical & technological goods and will be working alongside a team of two.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to negotiating to secure best possible terms and prices whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. In addition to negotiation, you will be monitoring inventory levels to ensure that stock is adequately maintained. This requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of supply and demand dynamics to avoid any disruptions in the supply chain.
Coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams to track orders and manage delivery schedules effectively will be part of your remit, however with established storage and transport facilities this will allow you to spend time doing what you do best.
Working across both retail and ecommerce outlets, this role is ideal for someone who has an interest in digital and technological appliance.
This is a hybrid working opportunity, splitting your time between home and the Limavady HQ.
What you will be doing:
Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers to secure deals
Continuously monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products
Monitoring pricing levels across competitors
Managing new and existing suppliers
Identifying new product lines across related sectorsWhat you will need:
Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
Experience in purchasing and inventory management.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse market trends.
Proficient in using computer systems and software for purchasing.
Prior experience in retail or ecommerce is advantageous but not essentialWhat you will receive:
