Major Recruitment are searching for a Welding Engineer for our client based in Sunderland. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
Conducting inspections at various production stages
Ensuring products are manufactured correctly, meeting specifications, and to company standards and procedures
Supporting making improvements to inspection and auditing processes across the company
Inspecting welds, materials, dimensions and painting processes
Working with the team and independently to support the businessHours of work and pay rate:
Monday to Friday
8 hour day shifts, flexible hours
£45,000 per yearSuccessful candidates must have the following:
Knowledge of quality and welding management systems ISO9001 and ISO3834
Proficiency in welder monitoring, distortion control and weld sequences/ SOP
Knowledge of welding processes, MAG essentialThis position also requires travel within the UK and Europe for a few weeks per year.
