Ovarro - Application Engineer

Ovarro is a company with real purpose. To enable this, we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro. We are now looking to hire an Application Engineer located in Waterloo who will develop customer applications.

At Ovarro you will

• Contribute to and work on application for our customers. Implementation and validation of new functionalities. Maintenance of existing functionalities.
• Contribute to and participate in the validation of our RTU products. Applies a range of techniques to perform extensive testing of systems. Implementation and documentation of new manual or automated tests.
• Contribute to and work on RTU production testbench. Implementation and validation of test process of new products. Maintenance of existing testers.

Candidates should have

• A proven background in creating customer applications
• Experience with various programming languages ideally C# or Python
• Knowledge of Industrial or IoT protocols (e.g. OPC UA, DNP3, IEC60870, Modbus, MQTT, etc ) is an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in French and English
